A rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to oversee a team of regional sales leaders responsible for driving growth across key U.S. markets. This role will significantly influence the organization’s go-to-market strategy, provide mentorship to a distributed sales organization, and accelerate revenue within both new and established customer segments.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, data-oriented sales executive who can balance high-level strategic planning with active involvement in day-to-day execution. Experience leading high-growth sales teams, managing extended sales cycles, and selling SaaS and IoT solutions, preferably within real estate–adjacent or technology-driven industries, is strongly preferred.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of regional sales directors responsible for managing territories across the United States.
  • Oversee the execution of the company’s go-to-market plans, ensuring strong alignment with organizational growth goals and revenue targets.
  • Participate directly in major customer opportunities, including executive discussions, deal strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Create and execute sales strategies to expand market presence within targeted industry verticals such as multifamily, single-family, and student housing.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment on pipeline development, lead quality, and overall customer lifecycle initiatives.
  • Maintain ownership of accurate forecasting, pipeline oversight, and sales performance reporting through CRM platforms and related systems.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, openness, and ongoing professional development across the sales organization.
  • Act as an advocate for customer needs, sharing market insights and feedback with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience, including oversight of regional or national sales teams.
  • Background in B2B SaaS and/or IoT solutions, with a demonstrated history of surpassing revenue goals.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies and managing complex, long-duration sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, rapidly scaling corporate environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and engage confidently with senior executives.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to support field teams and participate in customer engagements.
  • Availability to travel approximately 30–50% for team support, customer meetings, and major industry events.
