Our client are offering an exciting Business Development opportunity. We are a rapidly expanding FinTech start-up, building an AI-driven ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) B2B product for investors.

The team comprises Technology and Finance professionals who are transforming sustainable investing by using cutting-edge technologies including cloud computing, machine learning, and NLP. About the Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their UK team.

  • You will be working as part of a close-knit sales team where your ideas will be listened to and you have the opportunity to grow your career in Tech Sales.
  • The key focus of this role is prospecting to new Businesses and identifying their key needs and requirements with the aim that they book a meeting to view our products.
  • You must be comfortable outreaching to potential clients using outbound cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, cold emails, and lead follow-ups.
  • You will be balancing pipeline generation and outbound prospecting with an emphasis on prospecting a database of leads.
  • This is a quota-carrying role and you will manage the initial sales cycle, working closely with the BDL and Co-founders on opportunities.
  • You will be focused on driving meetings booked and constantly seeking to beat
  • You will be maintaining and improving the database of prospects, keeping an accurately tagged CRM / pipeline that encourages consistency and transparency.

About You

  • A Minimum of 1 year B2B software or technology sales experience in the SMB or Commercial space
  • Outstanding academic background; minimum 2:1 Proven top performer (consistently exceeds targets)
  • Prior Experience in a BDR or SDR role, prospecting into SMB or Commercial accounts preferred
  • Demonstrated experience outreaching to C-Suite level
  • Proven time and account management skills, as well as excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
