Louisa is the Co-Founder of LMRE, which has rapidly become the market-leading global PropTech recruitment platform and search consultancy with operations across the globe. As one of the largest UK headquartered recruitment businesses with a female founder, Louisa has had another incredibly successful year in helping accommodate the growth of the business, both externally and internally.

Louisa has recently launched a new project ‘Meet the Founders in 60 seconds’, where she is joined by founders within the built environment space, challenging them to pitch their business, the problem and the solution they aim to solve in just 60 seconds. Check out the published videos here!

Previously Richard was a divisional MD of a leading FTSE listed, global recruitment firm in London for over 12 years. In 2013 Richard founded Lloyd May property recruitment and more recently is a founder of LMRE the market leading global Proptech talent management consultancy.

Richard has an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day workings and challenges within the global resourcing and real estate markets and is passionate helping our clients grow and scale their businesses whilst maintaining a fun and rewarding working environment.

Tabitha has recently been appointed Director at LMRE, bringing her unstoppable drive and energy to the role.

Over the past four years, she has progressed from Consultant in the North American team to now leading LMRE’s PropTech vertical. Tabitha currently manages a brilliant team of twelve and has successfully closed over 37 logos, delivering on senior (VP and above) searches across PropTech SaaS, asset management, and principal investment.
Her sharp thinking, collaborative approach, and genuine care for both clients and candidates continue to fuel strong partnerships across the PropTech space.

Tabitha has a passion for music and wider arts and has sold her paintings to raise money for charity in addition to recording her own music and been a part of a touring musical. She loved the interactivity and personalisation of performance and decided her skillset in this area could be translated well into the recruitment environment, and has been at LMRE since. She loves that she gets to talk to new people everyday with the hope of finding them their next big PropTech opportunity, and enjoys building her network out with exceptional Real Estate talent

At LMRE, Sarah leads the PropTech team of 6 consultants, managing the end-to-end recruitment process while partnering with some of the most innovative companies transforming the built environment. Her expertise lies within commercial real estate technology, but also holds a great network in multifamily, SFR, ESG etc.

Sarah is also the host of Women to Watch in Proptech – a LinkedIn video/podcast series where she invites girl bosses from across the industry to share their experiences on how they found their success. Gemma is a Principal Consultant at LMRE where she is spearheading the UK PropTech and US Single-Family-Rental (SFR) and Short-Term-Rental (STR) markets at LMRE. She supports start-ups and scale-ups in growing and expanding their teams, covering all go-to-market (GTM) hires, ranging in seniorities from entry-level through to C-Suite in all disciplines. Main hires spanning across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Finance.

Gemma runs her own web-series ‘Built to Last’ with Founders and Senior Leaders in the Single-Family, Multifamily, and Short-Term Rental PropTech space, where she explores businesses in the space; their value propositions and USPs, their business journeys, their experiences in the market, industry challenges and trends, predictions, and so on.

Hugo is a Senior Consultant at LMRE, having originally joined the business as a Resourcer after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics and International Relations.

Since joining LMRE, Hugo has carved out a niche within the multifamily PropTech sector, partnering with both early-stage startups and established software providers to support their go-to-market hiring across the USA, UK, Europe and Canada.

Recently, Hugo moderated a panel at the Real Estate Tech Market, discussing the growth of the PropTech ecosystem, the challenges facing the industry, and the opportunities ahead. He also launched a LinkedIn map series showcasing the geographical spread of PropTech companies across different regions, highlighting key innovation hubs around the world.

Outside of work, Hugo enjoys taking a dip in the Hampstead Heath swimming ponds and testing his knowledge at a local pub quiz.

Rupert combines hands-on experience in both traditional commercial and residential real estate with a deep understanding of the technology transforming the built environment. Having worked directly within the property sector, he brings a unique perspective to the challenges and opportunities facing owners, operators, and PropTech providers across the US market.

Passionate about the rapid evolution of the industry, Rupert is particularly interested in how technology is reshaping operations, enhancing the resident experience, improving asset performance, and driving portfolio growth. He partners with both high-growth startups and established market leaders, helping them build the commercial teams that fuel innovation and scale.

Fluent in Spanish and experienced working across international markets, Rupert takes a relationship-led approach to recruitment, focusing on long-term partnerships and delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.

Outside of work, Rupert enjoys travelling, discovering incredible food spots, and exploring cities across Europe and the Americas. He also tends to his aquarium!

Steph is a Senior Recruitment Consultant at LMRE, specialising in GTM recruitment across the global PropTech market. She partners with high-growth SaaS businesses to help them hire exceptional Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering and Revenue talent across the US and EMEA.

Passionate about building long-term relationships, Steph takes a consultative approach to recruitment, focusing on understanding both the needs of her clients and the ambitions of every candidate she works with. Tom Bishop is a Recruitment Resourcer specialising in the PropTech and ConTech sectors, connecting top talent with some of the industry’s most innovative businesses. Since joining the team, Tom has made an immediate impact, successfully placing his first candidate within his first month.

Before moving into recruitment, Tom studied Architecture, giving him a strong understanding of the built environment and the challenges facing the industry. Alongside his studies, he delivered presentations and talks to audiences of over 500 people that now helps him build lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.

Originally from Devon, Tom has always had a passion for sport and competition, particularly surfing, alongside a range of other sports. Half French and bilingual, he also loves travelling and experiencing different cultures whenever he gets the chance.

Robbie is a Recruitment Resourcer at LMRE, specialising in headhunting top talent across the US PropTech market. He partners with high-growth SaaS businesses to help them hire exceptional Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering and Revenue professionals across the US and EMEA.

Robbie recently moved back from Australia, where he challenged himself by travelling solo, experiencing new cultures and building a life for himself in Sydney. He brings that same mindset to his role at LMRE, always looking to build meaningful relationships with people from different backgrounds and experiences. This curiosity helps him build his network and deepen his understanding of the evolving PropTech market.

My ideal Saturday looks like starting the day with a walk, coffee and pastry before heading to a local market to try new food, finishing the day with a few drinks with friends in a cosy pub.

Jon Ballantyne is the Global ConTech Team Lead at LMRE, specialising in executive search and headhunting across the construction technology sector. He partners with high-growth startups and established technology businesses across the UK, Europe, North America and APAC, helping them build world-class commercial, product and go-to-market teams.

With a deep understanding of the global ConTech ecosystem, Jon works closely with founders, investors and scaling businesses to identify the talent that drives innovation and sustainable growth.

Beyond recruitment, Jon is passionate about supporting the wider innovation community. He’s served as a mentor for Suffolk Technologies’ BOOST accelerator and REACH Australia, advising emerging ConTech companies on talent strategy, hiring best practices and organisational growth.

Theo grew up in Kent until 13 and was then educated in South Africa for 4 and a half years. Since then, he has gained 5 years of experience in residential property and 5 years of experience in Technology recruitment with IT consultancies. LMRE’s business model was an obvious fit for Theo. He joined the ConTech team to support the growth of all the rapidly expanding early-stage start-ups. While getting involved in all areas of construction, he is focusing a lot of his time on developing the Financial Management sector.

Cecilia began her career at AlphaSights, where she worked with corporate industrial and technology clients before moving into the Insights Projects team. There, she partnered with organisations across EMEA to scope and deliver strategic research projects, helping companies answer critical commercial questions around product development, market entry and growth. During this time, she worked with businesses including Schneider Electric, Siemens Energy and Maersk.

Drawn to the complexity of industrial technology and supply chains, Cecilia naturally gravitated towards logistics, automation and robotics. After a brief spell at Gartner working with technology clients across the Middle East, she joined LMRE to focus on connecting the companies transforming warehousing, logistics and the built environment with exceptional commercial talent.

With a degree in French and Russian from the University of Bristol, Cecilia speaks four languages, so don’t be surprised if the conversation switches to French, Russian or German.

Hattie heads up LMRE’s global Insurtech and Risk function, partnering with scaling Insurtechs and risk-focused Proptechs transforming how risk is managed across the built environment.

As one of LMRE’s early hires, Hattie has witnessed first-hand how the industry has evolved and loves connecting with innovative startups shaping the future of insurance and real estate.

Originally from Cheltenham, Olivia recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First-Class degree in Business and now specialise in recruiting commercial talent across the InsurTech market.

Outside of work, Olivia’s ideal Saturday is spent exploring a new area of London, finding a great brunch spot, doing a bit of shopping, and somehow always ending up in a bar with a spicy margarita in hand.

Mari sits within the technology team at LMRE, specialising in technical and engineering hires across PropTech, ConTech, InsurTech, and the wider built environment. With a background in mathematics, data science, and engineering, she brings a deeper technical perspective to the recruitment process, helping clients assess not only leadership and communication skills, but also a candidate’s ability to solve complex problems and raise the technical bar within their teams.

She has partnered with startups and scale-ups across the US, Canada, Dubai, and Europe, supporting searches ranging from software engineers and data scientists to VP Engineering, CTO, and specialist BIM and AI talent. Mari is particularly passionate about working with companies building innovative products at the intersection of technology and the built world.

Vita Linnane is a Recruitment Consultant specialising in the technical roles at LMRE, across PropTech and ConTech. Prior to joining LMRE, Vita worked for 2 years within the FinTech industry where she began specialising in engineering roles. Vita has had a great impact already since joining, having had 3 offers and 1 placement in 3 months.

Before her recruitment life, Vita studied Modern Languages at the University of Bristol and lived abroad in 3 different countries, giving her great interpersonal communication skills and resilience. Argentina was Vita’s favourite country to live in and is excited to be able to re-visit in the future. She was also a particular fan of the food, culture, and language differences that she discovered out there.

Vita’s ideal Saturday: waking up naturally (without that awful Apple alarm), coffee run with my girls to get the morning sun, big brunch out by the river, charity shopping, and a cocktail bar in the evening!

Charlie sits within the Tech team specialising in AI and 3D talent – two fields that, between them, are busy building both the brains and the bodies of the next generation of technology. If a company is teaching a machine to think or teaching a screen to have depth, chances are Charlie already knows who’s best placed to help them do it.

As a passionate resourcer specialising in Tech and AI talent, Charlie thrives on connecting innovative companies with the people who power their ideas. He has a strong grasp of the evolving tech landscape – from AI and machine learning to data-driven problem-solving – and loves supporting candidates and clients as they navigate an industry defined by constant change. Relationship-building, curiosity, and staying ahead of industry trends sit at the heart of his approach.

Charlie recently completed his Master’s degree in Indo-Pacific defence weapon analysis, focusing on the strategic impact of emerging technologies on regional stability. With a background that blends political science, international relations, and advanced analytical research, Charlie brings a unique perspective to the fast-moving world of Tech recruitment.

Charlie’s academic path has taken him from earning a First-Class Honours degree in Politics, International Relations and French at the University of Exeter (where he received the Dean’s Commendation), to further postgraduate study examining defence, technology, and security in the Indo-Pacific. This analytical foundation complements his passion for understanding how innovation shapes global systems – and now, how the right talent shapes the future of the tech sector.

Playing a round of golf in the morning, stopping by a cosy café with a book on philosophy or psychology, and spending the afternoon listening to jazz music or watching live sports. If the weather is good, you’ll probably find him outdoors, exploring new spots or enjoying some quiet time with a great read.

Áine is Marketing Lead at LMRE, covering all things social, LinkedIn and conference marketing. She works with our conference partners to map out and execute pre and post conference marketing, alongside working with our LMRE recruiters on their personal marketing and our overall company marketing.
