Senior Sales Person in DMV area

MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN DMV AREA

Our client is looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Account Manager to join their team and expand their career in the rapidly growing fields of property technology and energy management. This individual will focus on increasing our client’s market presence in the hospitality and multifamily rental sectors, specifically within the DMV area. The primary objective is to expand our client’s footprint with large hotels and multifamily properties. This role involves leading sales efforts, from prospecting to proposal development, client presentations, and closing deals. A passion for technology, real estate, and reducing carbon emissions is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Selling a no-upfront-cost, guaranteed savings solution that enables real estate operators to manage energy consumption, reduce carbon footprints, generate grid services revenue, and maintain occupant comfort.
  • Managing the sales process from initiation to closing.
  • Staying informed on relevant energy and real estate policies, programs, and market conditions in the DMV area.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of our client’s service offerings and value proposition.
  • Building and nurturing strong customer relationships.
  • Delivering sales presentations to key stakeholders, including property managers, board members, and consultants.
  • Communicating our client’s value proposition effectively through financial metrics, consultative engagement, and domain expertise.
  • Collaborating with engineers to develop tailored proposals.
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and account management.
  • Representing our client at industry events to increase market visibility.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of service offerings, company strategy, and market positioning.
  • Coordinating with the marketing team on campaigns and demand-generation activities.
  • Establishing partnerships to support business development.
  • Promoting and expanding brand awareness in the DMV area.
  • Working with the marketing team to create collateral and outreach campaigns.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interest in innovative technology and clean energy.
  • 5+ years of professional sales experience.
  • Experience in the DMV market.
  • Residing within commuting distance of downtown Washington DC.
  • Background in HVAC, building automation, energy systems, property technology, or real estate.
  • Proven track record of top sales performance.
