Our client is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the US.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the US. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing international technology business operating in an innovative and rapidly evolving market.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence across the region by developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer and partner relationships, and growing an established network of channel partners. The role combines direct B2B sales with channel development, requiring someone who can successfully manage both complex enterprise opportunities and shorter, transactional sales cycles.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their territory, developing regional sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers and commercial partners. This is a highly customer-facing position requiring a proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to operate independently while collaborating with a broader international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on increasing market penetration, generating new business, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
  • Manage the full sales cycle across a combination of direct customers and channel-led opportunities, from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing distribution and reseller partners, working collaboratively to generate opportunities and increase sales performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit new channel partners that can support the company’s continued expansion across the region.
  • Generate new business through a combination of inbound opportunities, proactive outbound prospecting, referrals, channel relationships, and broader market development activities.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers to understand their business requirements, operational challenges, and potential use cases.
  • Manage a varied opportunity pipeline, including complex enterprise deals with longer sales cycles as well as smaller opportunities requiring a faster and more dynamic sales approach.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers by identifying relevant solutions that align with their business objectives and evolving requirements.
  • Gather customer, partner, and market feedback to identify emerging opportunities and provide actionable insights that can support broader commercial and business strategy.
  • Build a strong understanding of the company’s technology, solutions, customer applications, and target markets to effectively communicate its value proposition.
  • Represent the company and its solutions professionally across the region, helping strengthen brand awareness and market presence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, partner, pipeline, and sales activity information within the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure opportunities progress effectively through the sales process, and customers receive a consistent experience.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3–5 years of B2B sales, business development, territory management, or related commercial experience.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and achieving sales targets within a competitive B2B environment.
  • Experience managing both direct customer relationships and indirect sales channels, including distributors, resellers, dealers, or other commercial partners.
  • Proven ability to develop productive, long-term partner relationships while maintaining a strong focus on end-customer needs and commercial outcomes.
  • Comfortable managing a diverse sales pipeline that includes larger enterprise opportunities with complex or extended sales cycles as well as smaller, faster-moving opportunities.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with experience identifying customer requirements and positioning solutions based on specific business needs and use cases.
  • Commercially driven and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop territory plans, and take ownership of regional sales performance.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to establish credibility and trust with customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with CRM platforms, sales technology, and digital communication tools.
  • Strong organizational and pipeline management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to operate independently in a geographically distributed environment while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience selling technology, hardware, software, or technical solutions would be advantageous.
