About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Mid-Market SDR to join its growing Sales team. This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers within the single-family and multifamily housing sectors, helping to build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build or accelerate their career within a fast-growing SaaS and technology environment. The role offers exposure to the full business development process while developing valuable skills in prospecting, discovery, consultative selling, and pipeline generation, with opportunities for continued progression within the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective mid-market customers and key decision-makers through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting across phone, email, professional networking platforms, and other sales engagement channels.
  • Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the Sales team, contributing directly to new business pipeline development.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective accounts through consistent and disciplined prospecting activity.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospective customers’ business needs, challenges, priorities, timelines, and purchasing processes.
  • Qualify prospective opportunities against established sales criteria and transition qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition based on their specific business requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect, account, and activity information within the company’s CRM platform.
  • Document prospect interactions, discovery notes, follow-up activities, and other relevant information to support effective opportunity management.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and sales meetings, providing clear updates on prospecting activity, qualified opportunities, and overall pipeline health.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s platform, solutions, target customers, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry trends, regulatory developments, competitors, and broader market dynamics.
  • Clearly communicate the company’s solutions and business value to prospective customers, adapting messaging to different audiences and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other internal teams to support a seamless prospect and customer experience.
  • Participate actively in sales training, coaching, role-playing, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Represent the company at relevant conferences, trade shows, networking opportunities, and industry events as required.
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon activity and performance targets, including outbound activity, meetings scheduled, qualified opportunities created, and pipeline generated.
  • Manage daily prospecting and follow-up activities effectively while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, inside sales, customer service, or another relevant customer-facing role preferred.
  • Previous experience within a SaaS, technology, property management, single-family housing, multifamily housing, or related environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience using a CRM platform and familiarity with sales engagement and prospecting tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with prospective customers and decision-makers.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and conduct effective prospecting and discovery conversations.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to maintain consistent prospecting, follow-up, and administrative activities.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to achieve targets and develop a career in sales.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with the ability to quickly develop knowledge of products, customers, markets, and industry trends.
  • Resilient and persistent, with the ability to navigate objections and rejection while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and identify relevant business opportunities.
  • Coachable and receptive to constructive feedback, with a commitment to continuous learning and performance improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working toward individual and team performance goals in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • Adaptable and comfortable operating in an evolving SaaS environment where processes, priorities, and responsibilities may change as the business scales.
  • Willingness to participate in a hybrid work environment, including regular in-office collaboration, team meetings, coaching, and training.
  • Ability to communicate professionally through phone, email, video conferencing, and other digital channels.
  • Willingness to attend relevant conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as required.
