About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its growing Sales team. This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective enterprise customers, primarily connecting with senior-level decision-makers within the multifamily housing and property management sectors.
As an important first point of contact for prospective customers, the SDR will be responsible for generating qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the Enterprise Sales team. The role combines outbound prospecting, lead qualification, relationship building, and pipeline development, requiring a proactive approach and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective enterprise customers, key accounts, and senior-level decision-makers through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns across phone, email, professional networking platforms, and other sales engagement channels.
  • Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities with relevant senior-level stakeholders for the Enterprise Sales team.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective accounts and consistently progress leads through the early stages of the sales cycle.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospective customers’ business needs, challenges, priorities, timelines, and purchasing processes.
  • Qualify prospective opportunities against established sales criteria and transition qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect, account, and activity information within the company’s CRM platform.
  • Document prospect interactions, discovery notes, follow-up activities, and other relevant information to support effective opportunity management.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and sales meetings, providing clear updates on prospecting activity, opportunities, and pipeline health.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s platform, solutions, value proposition, target customers, and competitive positioning.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry trends, regulatory developments, competitors, and market dynamics to support credible conversations with prospective customers.
  • Clearly communicate the company’s solutions and business value to prospects, tailoring messaging to different stakeholders and organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other internal teams to support a seamless prospect and customer experience.
  • Participate actively in sales training, coaching, role-playing, and professional development initiatives.
  • Represent the company at relevant conferences, trade shows, networking opportunities, and industry events as required.
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon activity and performance targets, including outbound activity, meetings scheduled, qualified opportunities created, and pipeline generated.
  • Manage daily prospecting activities in an organized and disciplined manner while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, inside sales, customer service, or another relevant customer-facing role preferred.
  • Previous experience in a SaaS, technology, property management, multifamily housing, or related environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience using a CRM platform and familiarity with sales engagement and prospecting tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and conduct effective prospecting and discovery conversations.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to maintain disciplined prospecting and follow-up activities.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to achieve targets and develop a career in sales.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with the ability to quickly develop knowledge of products, customers, markets, and industry trends.
  • Resilient and persistent, with the ability to remain productive and positive when navigating objections, rejection, and other challenges associated with outbound sales.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback, with a commitment to continuous professional development and performance improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working toward individual and team performance goals in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving SaaS environment where processes, priorities, and responsibilities may develop as the business scales.
  • Willingness to participate in a hybrid working environment, including regular in-office collaboration, team meetings, training, and coaching sessions.
  • Ability to work effectively for extended periods using a computer and communicate professionally through phone, email, video conferencing, and other digital channels.
  • Willingness to attend relevant conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as required.
