To support ongoing growth, a fast-growing company is seeking an experienced Account Manager dedicated to driving expansion revenue. This role will oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts and take ownership of upsell, cross-sell, and commercial growth initiatives. The position involves close collaboration with Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to uncover and capture new revenue opportunities within the existing client base. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Client Success, this role can be performed remotely within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expansion Revenue Growth: Consistently deliver $500K+ in net new ARR annually by driving upsell, cross-sell, and strategic account growth initiatives.
  • Opportunity Identification: Use data, client insights, and internal collaboration to identify, prioritize, and pursue commercial opportunities across the account portfolio.
  • Executive Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders to position the company as a strategic growth partner.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to shape opportunity strategies and ensure offerings align with client needs and evolving market trends.
  • Commercial Leadership: Manage the full expansion sales cycle within existing accounts, including opportunity development, pricing, proposals, and contract execution.

Requirements

  • Revenue Growth Success: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding expansion and upsell targets within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Skilled at identifying client needs and aligning solutions to deliver clear, measurable business outcomes.
  • Executive Communication: Strong communication and presentation abilities, with proven experience engaging senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Deal Management: Ability to navigate complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the energy, sustainability, or ESG space is a plus.
