Our client is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Sales Development Representative.

About the Role

This is an early sales position suited for someone who thrives in nascent, fast-moving environments, enjoys building relationships, and wants to help guide both strategy and on-the-ground execution. The role involves working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to generate initial pipeline, secure early customers, and contribute to the development of market messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound efforts through office visits, site visits, phone outreach, and other initiatives to spark new conversations.
  • Use existing relationships in the contractor ecosystem to help build early momentum.
  • Establish and nurture initial relationships with main contractors, design-and-build firms, and property developers.
  • Create, organize, and maintain an active top-of-funnel pipeline.
  • Engage regularly with prospects to understand their needs, advance discussions, and progress opportunities.
  • Help shape and refine the go-to-market approach and engagement strategy.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to influence how the new procurement offering is framed, positioned, and taken to market.

Requirements

  • An effective communicator who builds trust quickly and can engage in confident, peer-level conversations.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with a true hunter approach, comfortable visiting sites, initiating conversations, making calls, and using creative outreach methods.
  • Familiarity with working alongside contractors and/or developers in the UK, with an understanding of their day-to-day workflows and pain points.
  • Motivation to help users boost efficiency through digital tools that reduce time and cost.
  • Comfort operating autonomously in a fluid, fast-evolving environment.
  • Reliable, execution-oriented, and driven by outcomes, someone who thrives outside a traditional 9–6 corporate setup.
  • Ability to travel to London with ease, whether by public transport or car.
  • Interest in helping shape the sales motion, pipeline development, and go-to-market approach from the outset.
