Our Client is seeking a strategic and results driven Director of Marketing to join their team.

Our Client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing, to oversee end-user outreach and engagement, raise the profile of low-carbon concrete products, and position the organisation as a leader in sustainable building materials.

A leader that will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful presentations and executing integrated marketing campaigns targeting architects, engineers, contractors, developers, asset owners, and sustainability professionals who influence demand for concrete masonry units (CMUs), segmental retaining walls (SRWs), pavers, and other specialised concrete products.

About the Role:
In this Director of Marketing position, you will report to senior leadership and collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to ensure clear and consistent messaging across all stakeholders. Bring strong marketing expertise within the built environment, ideally with experience in concrete masonry or related materials.
You are expected to be a confident presenter, skilled in planning, executing, and tracking multi-location campaigns.
If you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail plus a data-driven marketing leader ready to make a tangible impact, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness and adoption of innovative low-carbon concrete products among key stakeholders.
  • Create engaging digital and print content tailored to architects, specifiers, developers, sustainability consultants, and public sector bodies.
  • Lead multi-channel demand generation campaigns across email, social media, webinars, events, industry publications, and earned media
  • Support partner concrete plants with regional marketing initiatives and sales enablement tools to drive local uptake
  • Collaborate with policy and carbon teams to amplify thought leadership and align communications with policy developments and carbon monetisation efforts
  • Establish and manage performance tracking systems to assess campaign effectiveness and optimise ROI
  • Oversee external agencies and vendors to scale campaign execution and creative output.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, contributing to speaking engagements, panels, and conferences.

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within concrete masonry, ready-mix concrete, or the wider building materials and construction sector
  • Proven track record in planning and delivering effective B2B marketing campaigns with measurable results.
  • Skilled in storytelling and content creation, with a strong eye for design and brand consistency.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial construction, architecture, and design sectors, including the specification of concrete in project workflows.
  • Experienced in supporting sales, business development, and channel partners through targeted marketing enablement tools.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with experience working across cross-functional teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Familiar with sustainability, carbon markets, and climate-tech policy.
  • Experienced in using NetSuite CRM, web content management systems (e.g. WordPress), and design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
