Our Client is looking for an experienced Head of Sales.

About the Role
  
Our client is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial sales professional to play a key role in establishing and scaling a new outbound sales function. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and have a direct impact on the company’s go-to-market strategy, helping to build repeatable processes and drive growth within a targeted market segment.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing the outbound sales approach, securing early customer wins, and creating a foundation for future expansion. As the business grows, there will be significant opportunities for career progression, including the potential to build and lead a dedicated sales team.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys creating structure, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by the opportunity to shape and influence a growing organisation.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of developing and executing the outbound sales strategy within a designated target market.
  • Generate, qualify, and close new business opportunities, establishing a repeatable and scalable sales process.
  • Work closely with marketing and revenue leadership to refine messaging, identify target accounts, and optimise go-to-market initiatives.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Document successful sales processes, best practices, and market insights to support future team growth.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to help shape business strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of the wider sales organisation, with the opportunity to support future hiring, onboarding, and coaching activities as the team expands.
  • Help establish operational processes and sales infrastructure in a high-growth environment where systems and structure are still being developed.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in B2B sales, including several years in a proactive, outbound new business role with a strong track record of closing opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in building, developing, or significantly improving outbound sales processes and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience selling technology solutions, subscription-based software, or a combination of hardware and software products.
  • Knowledge of property, real estate, facilities management, or related sectors would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing sales models that begin with a smaller initial engagement and expand into larger, long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Ability to articulate business value and return on investment, building compelling commercial cases that support customer adoption and future account growth.
  • Strong CRM management and pipeline reporting skills, with experience maintaining accurate sales data, forecasting opportunities, and managing deal progression.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where processes and structures are still being developed and refined.
