Our client, a fast-scaling European PropTech with an award-winning suite of CAFM, CMMS, and ESG Management software solutions, is seeking its first dedicated Bid Manager to establish and lead a structured, high-impact tender function.
In this role, you will manage complex tenders end-to-end while defining and professionalizing the organization’s approach to enterprise and public-sector procurement. Acting as the internal subject matter expert on bid strategy, evaluation optimization, and competitive positioning, you will partner closely with Sales leadership to enhance bid qualification criteria, elevate submission quality, and improve overall win rates.
This position offers significant ownership, autonomy, and executive visibility, with direct influence over the company’s ability to secure complex, high-value contracts.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end RFP and tender processes across both public and private sector markets.
  • Develop and execute bid strategies, including evaluation criteria analysis, score optimization, and differentiated win-theme development.
  • Facilitate structured go/no-go decision-making in collaboration with Sales and senior leadership.
  • Partner with Sales teams during early-stage opportunity development to shape positioning, qualification, and competitive strategy prior to tender release.
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributions from Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, and Leadership to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions.
  • Draft and structure persuasive proposals that clearly articulate the organization’s value proposition, solution capabilities, implementation methodology, and commercial framework.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across technical, functional, legal, and pricing components of each submission.
  • Monitor relevant procurement portals and tender platforms across priority regions, focusing on strategically aligned, high-probability opportunities.
  • Manage clarification processes, customer Q&A, and post-submission engagement.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance bid templates, standard response materials, and centralized content libraries.
  • Analyze bid outcomes, scoring feedback, and competitive positioning to drive continuous improvement in quality, competitiveness, and win rates.
  • Serve as the internal custodian of bid governance, standards, and best practices.
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with regional sales leadership and growth-focused teams, contributing directly to the expansion of enterprise and public-sector revenue streams.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience leading RFP and tender processes within Enterprise SaaS, Facilities Management, infrastructure, or similarly complex B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated success in improving bid win rates and delivering high-quality submissions across multi-stakeholder, evaluation-driven procurement processes.
  • Experience managing both public and private sector tenders, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and scoring methodologies.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and value-focused proposals.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align pricing, positioning, and evaluation criteria to maximize competitive advantage.
  • Confident project leader capable of coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple strategic bids simultaneously.
  • Experience developing structured, scalable bid processes, templates, and governance frameworks within a growing organization.
  • Experience operating within a private equity-backed or high-growth SaaS environment is considered an advantage.
