Our Client is looking for a Founding Sales Lead.

About the Role
  
As the Founding Sales Lead, you will be responsible for building the company’s sales organization from the ground up and serving as the primary driver of revenue growth. This role will act as a key market-facing leader, owning early customer acquisition, shaping go-to-market strategy, and establishing repeatable sales processes. You will work closely with executive leadership to define pricing, positioning, and sales infrastructure, while directly engaging with prospective customers to validate product-market fit and accelerate commercial traction. Over time, this role will scale into building and leading a high-performing sales team as the company grows.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive recurring revenue growth and meet aggressive expansion targets
  • Serve as a public-facing representative of the company at industry events, conferences, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
  • Design and implement scalable sales playbooks, CRM workflows, and pipeline management processes to support long-term growth
  • Partner closely with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategy, messaging, and customer segmentation
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead future sales team members, establishing performance standards and a high-accountability sales culture

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a demonstrated track record of closing and expanding revenue
  • Prior experience selling workflow automation, AI-driven, or similarly technical products to business customers
  • Experience operating in early-stage or high-growth startup environments, including building or leading initial sales efforts, strongly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, compelling presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
