Field Operations & Delivery Manager

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly expanding IoT and smart infrastructure business backed by a publicly listed Hong Kong parent company, now launching its North American operations.

They are looking to hire their first US-based Field Operations & Delivery Manager to lead the rollout and deployment of VeriReader — an AI-powered IoT platform that digitises legacy utility meters across commercial real estate portfolios without requiring infrastructure replacement.

This is a foundational hire with strong ownership, visibility and long-term growth potential as the business scales across North America.

What you will do

This position will take ownership of real-world deployment and delivery operations across commercial building environments, acting as the key bridge between US customers and Asia-based engineering and product teams.

The role is heavily focused on field operations, rollout execution and deployment coordination rather than pure engineering or sales.

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of IoT hardware and smart building technology across multiple customer sites, managing installation partners, commissioning activity, deployment standards and operational troubleshooting.

This is a highly hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in fast-moving deployment environments and enjoys building operational processes from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment and rollout execution of IoT smart meter technology across commercial real estate portfolios
• Coordinate installations, commissioning, testing and go-live activity across multiple sites
• Manage field vendors, integrators and technical deployment partners
• Act as the operational bridge between US clients and Asia-based engineering/R&D teams
• Support troubleshooting, deployment optimisation and rollout issue resolution
• Work with wiring diagrams, commissioning documentation and BMS specifications
• Establish deployment standards and scalable operational processes for US expansion
• Travel extensively across California and customer sites as required

Compensation

$100K–$140K Base + Performance Bonus + RSU/Equity Options
