Our client is a venture-backed energy and ESG data platform built for commercial real estate owners and operators. Founded in New York, our client has become a trusted partner to some of the largest institutional landlords in North America, including TD Asset Management, Nuveen, Principal, and Starwood Capital. Our client recently closed a new strategic investment and is entering an exciting new phase of growth — particularly across industrial and office portfolios.
To support this growth, we are seeking to hire an experienced Client Success Manager to lead strategic relationships, drive adoption of our platform, and ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention. This individual will manage a portfolio of high-value clients and be responsible for delivering measurable outcomes, maximizing client value, and building trusted partnerships. This position reports directly to the VP of Client Success and can be based remotely within the U.S.
This role represents a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving, mission-driven team that’s helping decarbonize and modernize the real estate industry.
Primary Outcomes Deliver best-in-class retention.
You will maintain 95%+ gross revenue retention across your book of business by aligning our value to client business goals, ensuring high satisfaction, and addressing risks proactively.
Showcase measurable client value.
You will lead quarterly business reviews with executive stakeholders and asset managers, highlighting ROI, reinforcing strategic alignment, and ensuring clients see clear, ongoing value from the platform.
Grow stakeholder relationships.
You will deepen relationships within accounts by engaging with 2+ key stakeholders per client, including Asset Management, Sustainability/ESG, and Property Management, to ensure organizational alignment and advocacy.
Increase product adoption.
You will drive usage of our features and modules, ensuring broad adoption and integration into client workflows, with a goal of 60%+ multi-product adoption across your portfolio.
Serve as a strategic advisor.
You will act as the trusted partner to your clients, understanding their operational and ESG priorities and ensuring our solutions consistently help them achieve their objectives.
Qualifications

  • 4+ years in customer success, account management, or other client-facing SaaS roles
  • Strong track record of driving retention, adoption, and measurable client value
  • Skilled at building relationships with senior and executive stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
