Our Client, a Construction Software Development Company, is looking for a Chief of Staff to join their team in New York.
Our team comprises serial entrepreneurs with experience in high-impact organizations and projects across tech and construction. Having successfully built and deployed software used by over 140k users in construction and millions more across various industries, our team is deeply rooted in the construction space, not just tech.
Role Overview
Strategic Ownership: Develop and oversee company strategy, focusing on product impact, market analysis and revenue growth. Facilitate strategy sessions, manage executive meetings and prepare regular reporting.
Partnerships & M&A: Lead strategic partnerships and M&A initiatives aligned with company goals.
Investor Relations: Manage investor communications, prepare pitch decks, and shape the investor relations strategy.
Branding: Drive the personal branding strategy for leadership and manage the company’s social media presence.
Public Relations & Events: Organize speaking engagements, conferences, and podcasts to showcase the company’s vision.
Internal Communications: Coordinate company-wide meetings to ensure alignment and transparency.
Marketing Support: Collaborate on website content, videos, and other branding initiatives.
Internal Tools Management: Optimize internal software tools to support growth and operational efficiency.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience: 2– 4 years in startups, consulting, business development, partnerships, or investing (PE/VC).
Passion: Strong interest in early-stage startups, construction, AI, and B2B SaaS.
Skills: Analytical, highly organized, and adept at creating impactful presentations. Strong communication skills are essential.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
Mindset: Resilient, proactive, adaptable, and action-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
Preferred but Not Required MBA or experience in consulting, construction, manufacturing, or real estate.
