Our Client is seeking a Business Development Manager.

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of real estate and financial data. Their platform enables institutional investors, asset managers, and financial organizations to automate and streamline complex data processes – aggregating, standardizing, and delivering high-quality insights to support investment decisions and portfolio management.
Following a recent funding round, the company is investing in building out its commercial function and is seeking a Business Development Manager to play a foundational role in scaling revenue. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team and shape the go-to-market strategy, working closely with senior leadership.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive new business development efforts, managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Engage with institutional clients such as asset managers, hedge funds, and asset owners, positioning the platform as a strategic solution.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies, working with a growing marketing function to build pipeline.
  • Lead product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and proposal development for high-value deals.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across investment, operations, and technology teams.
  • Contribute to the development of sales processes, tools, and infrastructure in an early-stage environment.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and CRM data management.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to refine messaging and support client onboarding and expansion.
  • Represent the company in client meetings and industry engagements across Europe as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in enterprise sales or business development, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or real estate technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of institutional finance, with the ability to engage credibly with asset managers, hedge funds, or similar stakeholders.
  • Track record of closing high-value deals (typically six-figure annual contract values) within complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience operating in early-stage or high-growth environments, with the ability to build processes and operate with limited structure.
  • Commercially driven, with a consultative sales approach and strong executive presence.
  • Comfortable working with evolving sales tools and infrastructure, including newer CRM systems and limited automation.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (3–4 days per week in-office) and travel occasionally within Europe.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
