Our Client is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the next stage of expansion.
This is a high-impact commercial position focused on generating and converting new opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, cultivating new deal flow, and clearly articulating the value proposition to homeowners and property professionals.
A genuine interest in the residential property sector is essential. You should have a natural curiosity about the factors that influence a successful sale, including value enhancement strategies such as presentation, refurbishment, rental optimisation, and pricing approach. Identifying potential, recognising opportunities for uplift, and structuring intelligent solutions for sellers should be both engaging and motivating.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with estate agents, buying agents, and other property introducers
  • Identify and originate new opportunities across your professional network
  • Evaluate prospective deals and clearly communicate how the platform can generate additional value
  • Drive pipeline growth and manage conversion from initial engagement through to signed agreements
  • Represent the business professionally across phone, email, video, and in-person meetings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide structured reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the commercial strategy and go-to-market approach

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles, with a track record of delivering measurable results
  • Strong interest in the residential property market, with a solid understanding of seller motivations and decision-making dynamics
  • Sound commercial judgement and confidence discussing financials, margins, and value optimisation
  • A natural relationship builder who establishes credibility and trust quickly
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment
  • Clear and persuasive communicator with strong professional presence
  • Experience within estate agency, buying agency, property investment, or related sectors
  • An established network within the UK residential property market
  • Exposure to structuring residential transactions or advising sellers on pricing strategy and positioning
