About the Role
Our client is seeking a Residential Engineer / Architect to join their growing technical team, supporting the delivery of innovative residential construction projects using advanced building technologies. Working closely with clients, project teams, and technical specialists, you will support projects from early-stage planning and design through to site delivery, ensuring technical solutions meet project requirements, construction standards, and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Support the successful delivery of residential construction projects from concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, consultants, and contractors to develop practical and buildable engineering solutions.
- Provide technical advice throughout the design, planning, and construction phases of projects.
- Coordinate site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
- Participate in technical evaluations, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction processes.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative construction solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical point of contact.
- Contribute to the adoption of new technologies and modern methods of construction across residential developments.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience within residential construction, engineering, architecture, or technical project delivery.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, and site operations.
- Experience using CAD or other digital design software; familiarity with modern construction technologies would be advantageous.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical and proactive approach.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and keen to learn new technologies and construction techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to project and customer sites as required.
