Our client is looking for someone to take full ownership of a core software product, overseeing its direction, design, and development from end to end

About the Role

Our client is looking for someone to take full ownership of a core software product, overseeing its direction, design, and development from end to end. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will gain a deep understanding of user workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate those insights into impactful product features.
This is a highly hands-on role that combines product thinking with technical execution. You will leverage AI-powered development tools while maintaining the expertise to review, troubleshoot, and refine the code they generate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal operational teams to gain a deep understanding of their workflows, challenges, and process requirements.
  • Define and own the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, user needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Design, develop, and launch new features, leveraging AI-assisted development tools while maintaining the ability to build and refine solutions directly when required.
  • Create intuitive user experiences for external stakeholders, including portals, notifications, and self-service functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes, improving efficiency across communication, onboarding, and information-gathering workflows.
  • Make informed technical and architectural decisions to ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and maintainable as it grows.
  • Collaborate directly with customers, users, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate ideas, and continuously improve the product.

Requirements

  • Strong product mindset, with the ability to navigate complex or undefined problem spaces, identify priorities, and create a clear path from concept to execution.
  • Proven ability to build and deliver software solutions, whether through hands-on development, AI-assisted workflows, or a combination of both.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments where requirements may be ambiguous and priorities can shift.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience contributing to or leading the development of early-stage products, with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control, deployment processes, and maintaining reliable production systems.
  • Demonstrated experience taking a product, project, or idea from initial concept through to launch and adoption by real users.
  • A background that bridges both product and technical disciplines, enabling effective decision-making across strategy and execution.
  • Familiarity with modern AI-powered development tools and workflows.
  • Experience working within complex operational environments or regulated industries is advantageous.
  • A track record of identifying opportunities for automation and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
