Our Client is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the development of key platform capabilities, including AI-powered features.

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing technology company developing innovative, AI-driven products for a global customer base. As they continue to scale, they are expanding their Product and Engineering teams to support the evolution of their platform and deliver new customer value.
They are seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the development of key platform capabilities, including AI-powered features. Working closely with engineering, data, and design teams, you will define product strategy, translate customer needs into solutions, and lead the delivery of impactful features.
This is a highly collaborative role, requiring close engagement with cross-functional stakeholders and customers to ensure products are practical, valuable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with engineering and design teams to define, build, and deliver product capabilities, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term product strategy.
  • Own and drive the roadmap for key platform initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve user experiences, streamline workflows, and deliver measurable customer value.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to shape AI-powered features, helping define requirements, quality standards, testing approaches, and success metrics throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Engage regularly with customers and stakeholders to understand needs, validate opportunities, and inform product decisions through continuous discovery.
  • Prioritise product initiatives and manage the backlog with a strong focus on customer impact, business objectives, and strategic outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market, users, and product domain to guide decision-making and identify future opportunities.
  • Foster a data-informed approach to product development, using qualitative and quantitative insights to measure outcomes, validate assumptions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across the organisation to align product direction with customer needs and broader business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management, delivering successful software products in a commercial environment, ideally within B2B technology organisations.
  • Experience leading the development and launch of AI-enabled products or features, with an understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through deployment and optimisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and make informed product decisions.
  • Experience conducting customer research, validating assumptions, and using user feedback to shape product direction.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics and insights to inform product strategy and measure outcomes.
  • Interest in building products that improve business processes, operational efficiency, or knowledge-driven workflows.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Focused on delivering measurable outcomes and customer value.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation methods, prompt design, model optimisation, or related practices is advantageous.
  • Understanding of responsible AI principles, including transparency, fairness, explainability, and user trust.
  • Experience with enterprise software, workflow automation, or domain-specific business applications is beneficial.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, demonstrating curiosity, adaptability, and sound judgement when navigating ambiguity.
