Our Client is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Director to drive growth across priority market segments. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, while also contributing to the organization’s go-to-market strategy for its core platform.
This is a high-impact position involving close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to expand market presence and establish long-term client partnerships.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and prioritize prospective clients within defined target sectors.
  • Lead outbound prospecting initiatives using a structured, multi-channel approach.
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and deliver high-quality discovery calls, product demonstrations, and value-led presentations.
  • Develop persuasive proposals and business cases that clearly articulate platform value.
  • Apply a rigorous, metrics-driven sales qualification methodology to progress opportunities and support reliable forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on pricing strategy, commercial terms, and contract execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and sector-specific risk and compliance challenges.
  • Provide product teams with actionable insights on customer needs, workflows, and integration opportunities.
  • Support marketing efforts with content ideas, sector expertise, and feedback on campaign performance.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to build brand presence and generate leads.
  • Contribute to the development of partner and channel relationships.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts to support revenue planning and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a B2B software (SaaS) sales environment.
  • Prior experience selling technology solutions within regulated or asset-focused industries.
  • Familiarity with incident management, critical event management, or security-focused SaaS platforms.
  • Established relationships and networks within relevant market sectors.
  • Proficiency with modern CRM platforms and sales tooling.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of ownership, initiative, and resilience.
