Our client is using cutting-edge technology—think the perception and navigation AI systems used in self-driving cars—to allow people out in the real world to efficiently capture their work, analyze it, and get things done. They’re building virtual time machines for every job site.
Affordable housing shortages, outdated infrastructure, aging power grids: these are massive, pressing problems facing our country, and the world. But we’re not confronting them as boldly as we should—in part because we haven’t provided the men and women in construction with the same powerful tools to manage their work that today’s office workers take for granted. It’s time to change that.
Reducing the cost, time, and pain it takes to build and operate will revolutionize the industry’s approach to construction specifically and real estate management broadly—and revolutionize how we manage humanity’s built environments overall. Even a savings of one percent would change the game. And we can do a lot better than one percent.
Your products will be used to build the physical world. The construction industry is primed for a technology disruption from AI/ML, Computer Vision, autonomous drones, digital realities (AR/VR), edge computing, digital twins, and everything in between. You will build experiences that bring these disruptive technologies to the forefront for the many persona’s in the construction industry, including owners, contractors, trades, insurance, financing, etc.
Our client is looking for a Computer Vision software engineer with a focus in Machine Learning to help expand the capabilities of their platform. You will be working with the rest of the R&D team to apply deep learning techniques to their massive amount of visual data in order to provide meaningful insights to customers about their job sites. Knowledge of deep learning techniques along with the ability to adapt these techniques to specific problems in the real world is the core requirement for this role.
The company is headquartered in San Francisco, but they are accepting remote work from home applicants who live within +/- 3 hours of Pacific Standard Time.
