We are looking for a seasoned estimator, someone who is passionate about preconstruction and everything estimating. We’re specifically seeking applicants that can quickly relate to our customer base, someone that can take new clients and transform them into evangelists.
  
The Sr. Technical Sales Specialist will report to the VP of Customer Success and work closely with Sales, Product and Support teams to provide a best in class customer experience. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for educating customers through consultative training. You’ll collaborate on implementation, support, and relationship management while executing on customer scopes of work & business goals. You’ll partner with AEs and CSMs to ensure we collectively deliver value for our customers.
  
Responsibilities

  • Lead consultative training sessions that are informative, compelling and engaging. Provide expert-level industry guidance while advising on best practices to drive value. 
  • Collaborate with key contacts, leadership, Sales & CS teams to execute customer SOWs and business goals. 
  • Create and manage customer implementation timelines to ensure on time services and deliverables. 
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Document and track customer interactions, engagement, feedback,  issues, and resolutions using internal systems. 
  • Assist in the testing and validation of new product features and enhancements. This includes assistance with system build out (sample projects, databases, etc.).
  • Partner with AEs & CSMs on customer growth plans, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing use of their platform. Help achieve quarterly and yearly team sales targets via customer engagement and product utilization. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert internally, partner with other teams to translate customer challenges into product & workflow solutions, collateral and best practices.
  • Contribute to the company’s thought leadership content
  • Travel to customer sites and attend industry events as requested.  

  
Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct estimating experience on Ground up and Core & Shell projects. 
  • Experience with Data Centers, Healthcare, Life Sciences sectors preferred.
  • Experience with MEP work preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to translate technical features to users at varied experience levels. 
  • Expert analytical and problem solving skills along with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and as a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through; organized and detail oriented.
  • Be adaptable, professional, reliable and respectful. Become a trusted partner internally and externally,  items in your hands will be taken care of efficiently and with quality. 
  • Willingness to learn or experience with cloud-based software like Hubspot, Google Docs, Slack, Jira, Notion, etc.
