About the Role
A leading technology provider is seeking a Solutions Sales Engineer to join its regional go-to-market team. In this role, you will work closely with commercial stakeholders to identify, shape, and present high-value solutions to prospective and existing enterprise clients.
This position can be based in one of several key European locations. Your primary focus will be to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and business requirements, ensuring the organization’s platform, services, and partner ecosystem are aligned with client objectives.
Blending technical depth with strategic perspective, you will translate complex real estate, financial, and sustainability-related requirements into practical, tailored solution frameworks. By rigorously assessing customer priorities and impact ambitions, you will help ensure proposed solutions deliver measurable value and support long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, address technical concerns, and develop targeted sales approaches.
- Analyze industry-specific client challenges — ranging from operational inefficiencies to sustainability objectives — and position the company’s solutions as effective responses.
- Clearly communicate the value of the sustainability platform to prospects, emphasizing its impact on operational performance and environmental outcomes across property portfolios.
- Develop compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting materials that resonate with real estate stakeholders (e.g., asset management, fund management, sustainability, property management, and engineering roles).
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, consulting, and engineering teams to continuously strengthen and refine the company’s offerings.
- Support and enable the broader sales organization by sharing domain expertise, best practices, and tools that help teams articulate the value proposition effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles within enterprise technology environments.
- Background in property, infrastructure, sustainability, or related industries, with a solid understanding of sector-specific challenges and market drivers.
- Strong combination of technical understanding and commercial awareness, with the ability to connect complex client needs to platform-based solutions.
- Confident interacting with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including senior decision-makers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences and build credible relationships.
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with the ability to work autonomously in dynamic, cross-functional settings.
- Business-level proficiency in German and English.
