Sitecore /Web Software Engineer

Job Summary:
  
At our client, they’ve launched a program aimed at bringing the real estate leasing experience for residents into the digital era. 
  
We are building and scaling a resident-centric ecosystem of products, which enable us to have a 360 view of the prospect/resident to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
  
As a Sitecore/Web Software Engineer, you will work on industry-changing products and features designed to make shopping for an apartment more streamlined, e-commerce friendly and efficient. With your help, we will improve our customer’s apartment shopping journey and enable business intelligence to help us personalize the apartment shopping experience for our residents.
  
The successful candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, accountability, and the ability to understand business functions and requirements, translating to innovative working applications while navigating competing priority tradeoffs.
  
What You Will Do:

• 100% hands-on development, utilizing Sitecore in a headless approach, leveraging VueJS as the front end.
• As part of the Scrum team, you will work with BAs, Scrum Master, Leads, and other functions to understand business requirements and build creative solutions and features to move our product roadmap forward.
• Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of Sitecore applications
• You will be responsible for the development of features/functions of the website using Sitecore .NET CMS backend
• Provide Level 2 and/or 3 production support as needed
• Utilize Agile Development Practices (i.e., Test Driven Development, Paired Programming, Code Reviews, etc.)
• Develop, troubleshoot, and deploy cloud-native web application(s)

What You Have

• 2+ years of relevant experience working with Sitecore (must have experience with headless approach)
• 2+ years of relevant experience working with modern web frameworks such as VueJS
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications in C# .NET
• Experience in applying microservices principles, design, and architecture patterns.
• 1+ years of relevant experience working with Azure PaaS resources such as Azure Service Bus, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure APIM, and Azure Notification Hub.
• Knowledge of C4 and UML diagraming preferred.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform technologies is a plus.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
