Product Managers in this role will have the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives within the organization. This position is specifically focused on advancing one of the company’s top priorities: improving risk assessment and underwriting processes for a core financial product. As the first-ever Product Manager for this team, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the strategy to broaden the customer base while developing more sophisticated methods for underwriting risk, including the evolution of the data sources we leverage.
You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of Risk experts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving data-driven challenges, and is excited to grow their skills within a highly collaborative and supportive team.
  
Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Deep expertise in credit, rental, or insurance risk assessment, with a strong track record of developing underwriting models
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML-driven product development
• Significant experience integrating and utilizing diverse data sources — including traditional credit data, alternative data (e.g., cash flow and income verification), and fraud detection signals — to inform decision-making and enhance risk evaluation
• Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Risk professionals
• Strong ability to drive decisions through data analysis and insights
• Solid understanding of full-stack software development processes and lifecycles
• Experience building products that leverage user-permissioned bank account data
