About the Role
Our Client is hiring a Senior Product Designer to serve as the sole designer across their platform, leading design efforts for web, mobile, email, and end-to-end system workflows. This role is well suited for a strategic product designer who thrives in complex domains and enjoys working across research, UX strategy, requirements definition, systems design, and high-quality UI execution.
In this role, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces and translate sustainability, utility, and operational workflows into intuitive, high-impact product experiences. You will also leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, synthesis, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate on user experiences across web, mobile, and email using modern design tools
- Lead end-to-end workflow design for complex systems involving multiple user roles and data sources
- Build and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency and quality across all product surfaces
- Produce clear, comprehensive design specifications, including user flows, logic, states, and edge cases
- Use product analytics and qualitative insights to understand user behavior and guide design decisions
- Conduct user research through interviews, recordings, and cross-functional collaboration
- Apply AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, and design documentation
- Perform a holistic design review during onboarding to identify gaps and opportunities
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Customer, and Revenue teams to deliver cohesive solutions
- Own design outcomes end-to-end, focusing on measurable impact rather than deliverables alone
Requirements
- Experience operating as a solo or lead designer within a complex, data-rich software environment
- Strong systems-thinking approach to UX, with the ability to design workflows that account for logic, states, and dependencies
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer research, analytics, and qualitative insights into actionable design decisions
- Skill in producing clear, engineer-ready specifications that support efficient implementation
- Deep familiarity with design systems and component-based architectures
- High standard of visual design and refined UI judgment
- Comfortable making data-informed decisions using metrics such as funnels, dashboards, and performance indicators
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance design workflows and efficiency
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly bring structure to undefined problem spaces
- Genuine interest in sustainability, operational performance, or the built environment
