PropTech Senior GIS Analyst role based in the US

Our client is seeking a Senior GIS analyst to join the Research and Data Services Team. This role invites the opportunity to contribute your passion to one of the best data services in commercial real estate. Whether it is demographics, market, or office data, you will be involved in various projects that help organizations decide where people will work, and why. Your work will also be a part of our client’s award-winning client technologies platform, where you will use your spatial skills to deliver in-depth real estate solutions through cutting-edge products and tools.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Build strong relationships with our client’s internal/external clients by delivering high quality demographic, economic, labor, and commuting analyses.
  • Develop interactive web maps that visualize various types of datasets such as office space, health data, public data, or retail data.
  • Innovate new/existing workflows that improve their productivity.
  • Research and implement new tools and visuals that will benefit their internal/external clients.
  • Work with their Research team on gathering data that can be integrated into GIS data.
QUALIFCATIONS:
  • 5-10 years of Geographic Information Systems experience, some real estate experience preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of ESRI GIS software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Business Analyst, and ESRI’s Network Analyst tools.
  • Strong Knowledge of Python and ESRI’s ArcPy Python package.
  • Strong Knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Very detail oriented with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting key ESRI software applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting key ESRI software applications.
  • Strong sense of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
