Our client is the leading UK Student Property Management Software (PMS/SaaS). This role would be joining the team as the most senior hire reporting directly into the Head of Sales.

The Role:

  • With our client, you’ll be establishing new networks of customers and build strong relationships with existing clients, always remaining in touch with the current market, the industry and your client’s trends and changes.
  • You’ll create new business opportunities:
  • 1) Proactively generate leads: identifying appropriate potential customers and
  • 2) Strengthen existing relationships with existing customers
  • 3) Qualify and follow up on existing leads to deliver yours and your team’s targets.
  • You’ll increase product and service engagement through demonstrating the relevant parts of our product to new and existing customers.
  • You’ll recommend relevant parts of the team’s go-to-market strategy and execute plans to deliver it.
  • You’ll forecast your pipeline ensuring you communicate any material changes proactively and deliver towards agreed revenue targets.
  • You’ll work closely with the customer success team to support the successful onboarding of customers and maintain a great experience and journey for them.
  • You’ll be a crucial role in mentoring, advising and coaching junior members of the team
  • You’ll maintain a strong foundational pipeline (creating and maintaining customer records), forecasting and continuously improving our CRM practices.
  • You’ll regularly network and represent our client at industry conferences and events (in person and online).
  • You’ll gain insight – from customers – into potential future product enhancements and work with the product team to help them understand the requirement
  • You’ll regularly collaborate with your teammates across the company in multiple teams to align and optimise efforts and share objective insights. working together to optimise lead generation strategies, messaging, and conversion.
  • Personal and professional (sales) growth enablement: Keeping yourself proactively up to date with product features, benefits and our competitive advantage (and building efficient, effective and repeatable practices to do so). Leveraging the knowledge to effectively share value propositions with potential, new and existing customers.
  • You’ll track and report on your key metrics relating to outreach activities, lead generation, and conversation rates. Sharing knowledge, learnings, wisdom and insights with the team and wider company.


  • Someone with a genuine passion for technology and a solid understanding of the property space, especially the private rental sector.
  • An accomplished and experienced senior salesperson bringing a wealth of expertise in business development from various SaaS companies.
  • You have a remarkable goal-orientated track record in B2B sales and genuinely passionate about delivering results / surpassing targets, embodying a self-motivated approach.
  • In your existing/previous roles you proactively generated leads and drove sales with minimal oversight.
  • You enjoy face-to-face interactions with clients
  • You’re a keen and dedicated team player.
  • You’ll have previously supervised and/or mentored junior members of the team. You proactively improve ways of working to help the team.
  • You embody optimism, resilience and tenacity, with a healthy balance of realism. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and determined to find the answers for your customers. You have warmth and social prowess that is engaging and credibly persuasive.
  • You’ll have extensive networking experience, building relationships with, and serving a C-suite of large institutional and corporate customers. You have an instinctual ability to read the room and adapt your communication style to suit different situations, environments and people (including pre-planned presentations as well as written and verbal communication).

  • Ideally, you have experience in the PropTech SaaS space.
