PropTech Sales Manager role based in Frankfurt, Germany

Job Description

Our client has been Germany’s leading information provider in the commercial property sector for 30 years. Their Data, Research and News helps their clients to make informed investment decisions. Their clients include investors, brokers, lenders, asset managers, project developers, and other expanding Asset Classes. As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for leading a regional sales team, achieve regional targets and support the Head of Sales in driving further the expansion of their client base.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive sales activity within team through high volume of client visits and meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver new business development actions and delegate these where required.
  • Achieve regional sales targets in line with agreed budgets and monitor on a weekly basis.
  • Manage your account managers: monitor performance, allocate territories, and provide training and development.
  • Provide support to Account Managers to maximise revenue and minimise incentives on key accounts
  • Monitor sales and activity performance and assist where required.
  • Assist in the recruitment of Account Managers as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • A commercial property background or experience in investment markets. A Background in data, research and IT solutions will also be considered
  • Demonstrated ability leading a small sales team
  • Very good command of the German language (written and spoken), at least at B2/C1 level as well as good written and spoken English
  • Familiar with international settings
  • Ability to inspire and manage a mature and intelligent sales team
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation and influencing skills
  • Good at developing and maintaining relationships at all Levels (incl. Senior Management).
  • Ability to coach, mentor and provide supportive leadership to others
