PropTech Product Manager role based in the UK

Team & Role Overview:

The Business Technology Group (BTG) works with the business to provide technologies and applications that support the business operations and processes. Their global team is organized by their 5 business lines – Americas, Europe, and Asia Private Equity, Global Fund of Funds and Securities. Infrastructure services (help desk, deskside support, networks, telecommunications, and procurement) are provided to BTG works with their parent company to ensure all day to day technology needs are met. Reporting:

This position reports to the Europe Head of Business Technology but will work very closely with all business leaders (Fund Managers, Asset Managers, Transaction Officers) across Europe and with their Digital Delivery Centre in India. This role will be based in London and involve travel across their European offices (Paris, Munich, Luxembourg)

 

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to champion Digital Transformation in Europe
  • Develop strong partnerships with business stakeholders primarily Fund Managers, gaining a deep understanding of the current business processes, future direction and technology needs
  • Understand end user needs, develop a prioritised delivery roadmap, identify technology solutions, and take end to end ownership of business value delivery
  • Performing the full requirements lifecycle across elicitation, analysis, documentation, prioritisation and management
  • Work with internal and external technology delivery teams to communicate requirements, evaluate solution options and ensure delivered solution fulfils business needs
  • Conduct UAT sessions with business stakeholders across business functions and offices
  • Facilitate product demoes and business user training towards successful go-live.

 

Required Skills & Experience:
  • At least 8+ years of demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role in a Real Estate domain, with excellent understanding of Fund Management business processes and needs
  • Extensive experience working with business stakeholders to understand user needs, document requirements and translate them into a prioritised product roadmap
  • Excellent project management skills with strong ability to plan and prioritize
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, product management principles and development processes within a Scrum framework
  • Strong experience and understanding of real estate specific applications like Argus Enterprise, Horizon, Yardi, Voyanta
  • Experience of working closely with application support teams, engineering teams, and external vendor resources
  • A proven ability to multi-task and a self-starter mentality with good problem-solving skills and the ability to influence
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools & software (JIRA).
