Product Manager for Series A PropTech in Denver, CO

Who our client is looking for:
Our client is seeking a Product Manager to lead a product team of Engineers, Designers, and QA team members for their Accounting product. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced product environment where data is readily available, innovation is expected, and releases happen daily. You will be building products for real estate investors who need to manage their books and accounting processes.
As a Product Manager with our client, you’ll do the following:

  • Manage your product team’s day-to-day work, playing the role of scrum master and product owner.
  • Work as part of their Product Org to accomplish quarterly and annual OKRs.
  • Set a quarterly roadmap that drives user satisfaction and meets the goals of the business.
  • Drive activation, conversion, and retention.
  • Utilize behavior analytics, user research, and product data to report on and improve product performance.
  • Think strategically and analytically about improving the product, their technology, and how they build software.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need the following skills and experience:

  • You’ve worked closely with a team of engineers (3-5) on a software product with active users, and you loved it!
  • You write cases and have managed projects using project tracking tools such as Trello, etc.
  • You understand Scrum Principles, can discuss the pros and cons, and have worked in an agile environment.
  • You can synthesize product requirements from various inputs, including customer feedback, business goals, and user data.
  • Your leadership skills have earned you a following of engineers and designers who would love to work with you again.
  • You have done your own QA and release planning and have at least a basic understanding of Git Branching.
  • You can work with internal stakeholders to develop a product strategy, build a roadmap, and execute against it.
  • You understand product design principles and have worked with a product designer in the past. It’s a bonus if you can get in Figma and update screens using an existing design system.
  • You enjoy talking with customers, collecting and organizing feedback, and generating solutions to their problems.
  • You have experience working with behavior analytics platforms, preferably Mixpanel.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in Product Management or related roles, with at least some of that time in a company of a similar size (~90 employees).

[Bonus] You have experience walking through database architecture and can write SQL.
[Bonus] You have experience working for a SAAS company focused on small businesses or consumers (or as they think of their investors, “prosumers”).
Our client has offices in Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado, with the product team working out of their Denver office. Face-to-face time is an essential aspect of their culture, and the ideal candidate for this role would be expected in the Denver office once a week (more if preferred).
About Our Client:
Our client simplifies the complex and sometimes intimidating process of managing rental property. They do this through an elegant software platform for small, “do-it-yourself” landlords and their tenants.
Their Culture:
Our client has a high-performance culture that focuses on continuous improvement in serving their landlords and renters, and in unlocking the potential in one another.
What does this culture mean to you?

  • You’ll be in an environment that pushes you to reach your potential.
  • You’ll make a significant impact on their landlords, renters, company, and the proptech industry.
  • You’ll be on a high-performing team.

They also offer:

  • Competitive compensation package
  • 22 days of PTO during the first year increasing with tenure
  • Annual bonus based on company performance
  • Equity – an owner’s mindset is a big part of being a member of the team
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans – with multiple plans covered at 100%
  • 8 paid holidays per year + a paid day off for your birthday
  • 401k Matching
  • Annual bike tune-up reimbursement
