Product Designer for a Series A PropTech!

Our client is a user-centric, product-driven company. They understand that delivering value to landlords and tenants depends on prioritizing design, user research, experimentation, and shipping products. The entire organization values design, starting with the CEO. You won’t have to convince leadership to allocate engineering resources to improve visual design or advocate for user research before moving projects forward.
If you join the team, you can expect a fast-paced, performance-driven startup environment. Your work will be shipped to production daily and used by hundreds of thousands of landlords and tenants every month.
Who our client is looking for:
Our client seeks a skilled “full-stack” Senior Product Designer to join their Growth Product Team. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product management, product marketing, and customer experience teams to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven design solutions.
As a senior member of the Design team, you’ll also provide input on improving product design and development processes.
As a Senior Product Designer on the Growth Team, you will:

  • Plan, execute, and iterate on experiments to optimize conversion funnels and improve user engagement.
  • Implement and iterate on landing page designs using Elementor in WordPress.
  • Deliver work at the right speed and quality by prioritizing and strategically cutting scope.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative user research.
  • Produce design work that meets high brand, visual, and user experience standards.
  • Contribute to the design system.
  • Ensure user experience and visual design align with high standards in collaboration with Engineering and QA.
  • Share feedback, solve complex problems, and improve the function of the Design team.
  • Work as part of the Product organization to accomplish OKRs.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • High design standards and “taste”—design sets the quality bar.
  • The ability to speak up when work doesn’t meet your standards.
  • A proven track record of helping ship high-quality products.
  • Strong general design skills with one or two specialties.
  • A desire to give and receive feedback.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with pitching ideas, defending them, and making product decisions.
  • Experience using and contributing to a design system.
  • Experience leading user research.
  • Strong product and business sense.
  • Basic front-end development skills, including building landing pages within a CMS.
  • 3-4 years of experience working as a product designer.

Our client values skills, speed of delivery, product sense, high standards, attention to detail, communication skills, and emotional intelligence over specific degrees or years of experience.
Location and Commitment:
Our client has offices in Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado. Face-to-face time is important, and the ideal candidate will work from the Denver office once a week or more if preferred.
About Our Client:
They simplify the complex process of managing rental properties through an intuitive software platform designed for small, DIY landlords and tenants. They serve over 650,000 landlords.
Their Be Better Culture:
Their high-performance culture drives them to continuously improve in serving customers and unlocking potential within their team.
What does this culture mean for you?

  • You’ll be in an environment that pushes you to reach your potential.
  • You’ll make a significant impact on landlords, renters, the company, and the industry.
  • You’ll be part of the highest-performing team of your career.

They are proud to offer:

  • Competitive compensation and PTO package.
  • Equity – an owner’s mindset is key to being part of the team.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans – multiple plans covered at 100%.
  • 8 paid holidays per year + a paid day off for your birthday.
  • 401k matching.
  • Annual bike tune-up reimbursement.
