The Role

Our client is searching for their first Pre-Sales Consulting who can support their EU sales team as they continue to develop a world-class pre-sales and solution consulting capability at the company. The pre-sales consultant will be responsible for leading the product discussions throughout the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership to enable companies to transform their workplace experience through the application of technologies. They will work alongside the Account Executive to align the customer’s business objectives with technology solutions and demonstrate where their required capabilities are met with the components of our client’s platform.

This person will have a strong desire to join a growing team and make big contributions to the company’s client engagement process, sales cycle, win rate, client satisfaction, and customer success. The ideal candidate should have a desire to take their career to new levels and master the complexities of our client’s product and sales process in light of the required capabilities set out by their customers.


  • Contributes to their Client Engagement Process and Mutual Action Plan
  • Attend customer visits, presentations and support AE’s with RFP/RFI’s as required.
  • Prepare and deliver clear and convincing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations in both oral and written format to C level or Board level.
  • Understand the desired positive business outcomes of their customers and demonstrate how aspects of our client’s product and services will support the delivery of these
  • Align the customer’s required capabilities to current industry solutions and trends
  • Uses market knowledge and customer feedback to help the company’s sales and technical organisations develop the most optimal solution(s) for the customer
  • Maintain an expert level of understanding of the system capabilities and features to position and demonstrate the product in a compelling and captivating manner
  • Effectively address and dispel customer objections to the proposed solution(s)
  • Ensures that sales, product and technical organizations are properly aligned to achieve objectives
  • Work closely with the Technical Implementation Managers to convey the customers technical requirements and specifications to ensure launch and roadmap deliverables are agreed
  • Support Account Executives with expansion opportunities across all accounts
  • Minimum of 5 years consecutive experience in a similar, presales or customer facing consulting role within a SaaS based organization
  • Proven ability to overcome sales obstacles, creative problem solving and technical objection handling.
  • The ability to possess strong, detailed product/technology/industry knowledge
  • Exhibits leadership traits in the execution of presales activities within the territory
