PropTech Partnerships Manager role based in New York City, US

Our client is a real estate tech start-up who make homeownership more accessible across the US.

They are growing rapidly and looking for a Partnerships Manager to join their Partnerships team. This role will own new partner relationships and be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and scaling partnerships from the ground up. The candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for relationship building, the strategic mindset to structure mutually beneficial partnerships, and the hunger to carry out pilot campaigns with a “no task too big or small” mindset. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, will be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to grow and optimize partnerships. Strong judgment and the ability to influence are essential to success in this role.


Where you will make an impact:
  • Source and develop commercial relationships with a range of fintech and proptech companies as well as lenders, trade groups, community organizations, and ancillary services to create new acquisition channels, drive revenue, and build brand awareness
  • Implement and operationalize partnerships by working closely with our sales, operations, client success, product, and engineering teams
  • Analyze pilot campaigns to measure the impact and viability of the partnerships
  • Create a pipeline of potential new partners, vet them, and establish lines of communication
  • Work with partners to ensure that the partnership is growing and that commercial agreements as well as SLAs are met
  • Roll up your sleeves and get out of your comfort zone to reach targets

Your background includes:
  • 5 years of prior experience in a similar role (partnerships, enterprise sales, tech, real estate, lending, consulting); startup experience a plus
  • Unparalleled business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions
  • Proven track record of setting targets and delivering on them
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience building trust within partner organizations and influencing without authority
  • Proactive self-starter able to prioritize and manage work autonomously
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable performing data analysis and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using SQL, Excel, HubSpot)
  • SQL proficiency is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
