Our Client is seeking a detail-focused Operations Associate to support a growing operations team.

About the Role

Our Client is seeking a detail-focused Operations Associate to support a growing operations team. In this hands-on role, you will play a critical part in day-to-day execution – preparing units, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring each residence is consistently ready for occupancy.
Responsibilities range from completing move-in inspections to addressing connectivity issues and assembling furnishings, all with the goal of upholding high-quality standards and delivering a smooth, reliable experience for every occupant.
There are two openings for this role, located in Chicago and San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unit Preparation & Maintenance: Partner with operations leadership to ensure residences are fully furnished, stocked, and move-in ready, handling light repairs and last-minute preparations as needed.
  • Field Support: Provide on-site support to quickly resolve issues such as access concerns, cosmetic fixes, and basic technology troubleshooting.
  • Inspections & Quality Control: Complete pre- and post-occupancy inspections using mobile tools to verify each unit meets established quality standards.
  • Property Walkthroughs: Conduct detailed walkthroughs to confirm furnishings, décor, and overall presentation align with brand expectations.
  • Operational Support: Assist with local operational projects, including inventory management, storage organization, and creation of reference materials for occupants.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the primary field liaison between on-site operations, leadership, and customer-facing teams to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain composed, adaptable, and efficient in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfortable completing basic maintenance tasks such as furniture assembly, minor repairs, and access hardware installation
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to regularly lift and transport moderately heavy items
  • Proficient with common workplace technologies and mobile task management tools
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Collaborative, positive, and team-focused approach to work
