About the Role
Our Client is seeking a Marketing Specialist to assist with daily marketing activities. This position reports to the Marketing Director and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and client services to develop engaging content, oversee the organization’s professional social media channels, and support various marketing functions.
This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-3 years of broad-based marketing experience who possesses copywriting and design capabilities and is eager to gain practical exposure across diverse marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Managing daily marketing operations including materials development, digital channel management, event coordination, and transforming marketing messages into persuasive written and visual content. This position demands proficiency in design tools (such as presentation software, graphic design platforms, and creative suites), strong writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple concurrent requests while ensuring brand coherence.
Design & Creative Development
- Developing sales presentations, proposal decks, and standardized templates
- Producing marketing materials including summary documents, client case studies, and product information sheets
- Creating event assets (display graphics, signage, promotional items, branded materials)
- Ensuring brand uniformity across all marketing and sales deliverables
- Overseeing digital asset library and template storage systems
Content Development & Writing
- Converting organizational and product messaging into engaging marketing copy
- Composing and designing assets such as email layouts, website content, and articles
- Generating social media posts and graphics for organizational channels
- Creating client success narratives and testimonial content
- Adapting comprehensive content into various formats and distribution channels
Digital Channel Management
- Overseeing the organization’s professional networking platform presence (content planning, publishing, interaction)
- Developing and scheduling platform content aligned with campaigns and organizational announcements
- Monitoring audience engagement, responding to interactions, and fostering community
- Analyzing channel performance metrics and identifying content opportunities
- Promoting thought leadership content from leadership and team members
Event Coordination & Logistics
- Managing logistics for industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and professional events
- Supporting planning and delivery of client-facing events and executive roundtables
- Organizing pre-event promotional activities and post-event follow-up materials
- Maintaining event inventory (promotional items, materials, display components)
- Documenting events through photography, testimonials, and content for subsequent marketing efforts
Sales Support & Enablement
- Responding to sales and client services requests for customized presentations and account-specific materials (proposals, business reviews), providing content, design, and formatting assistance
- Maintaining sales resource library and ensuring materials remain up-to-date
Marketing Operations Assistance
- Supporting website updates and content management activities
- Assisting with email campaign development and quality control
- Liaising with external partners (design firms, print vendors, agencies)
- Tracking marketing project timelines and deliverable schedules
- Providing administrative support for marketing programs and initiatives
