Our client is looking for someone to come in and tackle their cyber and IT Infrastructure projects! – as a reminder… you must already work as a contractor and have your own entity set up!
This will include implementing a new MDR provider (Managed Detection & Response), access, data center and identity unification.
If you have a PMP qualification this will massively help as these are the responsibilities you will balance:
- Internal and external stakeholder management across security, business teams, IT etc
- Project manage from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, and without going over budget.
- Manage risks and think up any mitigation techniques to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables
- Ensure quality is kept high despite having to work at pace (compliance with organizational policies and procedures)
In order to be considered for this role, you will likely need:
- Proof of success as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure/Cyber – and/or projects with a focus on data center migration and identity access management
- Strong technical understanding of networks, servers, security solutions, storage, incident response etc
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Your projects may include but not be limited to:
- MDR Provider – selection and implementation of a new MSSP to enhance security
- Identity Access Management Unification
- Privileged Access Management Unification
- Data Center Unification and/or Migration
