Role Context

  • We are looking for a senior commercial sales manager who has already forged a strong career in the commercial real estate and property development sectors
  • We are looking for a passionate, driven, and organised sales negotiator and manager who wants to forge a career in a fast-moving ambitious technology business
  • You will utilize your network and management experience to drive performance is a fast-paced start-up sales environment
  • You must be results-driven and used to working against targets
  • You must have an existing network developers / landlords / Commercial agent and brokers
  • You must have experience in managing a team of sales professionals; this includes managing commission incentives; performance; targets
  • You should be well versed in recruitment and budgeting for a sales team
  • Must have experience in using sales tools and systems to manage output
  • We work with a range of demanding professionals to provide next generation, market leading services that add value to their business operations, and we need salespeople with experience in estate agencies that understand the needs of our customers and can help them efficiently maximise the return on their investment
  • You will be interacting with customers to offer a first-class service and act as an ambassador for our brand
  • You’ll be joining a demanding, ambitious technology company at an early stage, so we’ll expect you to take ownership and responsibility for a broad range of tasks that will help us succeed with our customer
  • You’ll share our vision and can distil and articulate it powerfully into sales messages in person or print, acting as an evangelist for our brand at every level in our customer organisations

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales department in Singapore
  • Generating a pipeline of sales and opportunities within your market
  • Managing, retaining, and growing key clients
  • Prospecting and closing new business
  • Day to day line management of our sales team
  • Implement systems and measures to track sales outcomes
  • Take lead in recruiting of new resources in your team
  • Implement weekly/monthly reports and dashboards to track status of results
  • Develop new strategies to achieve target
  • Develop client relationships and grow accounts
  • Motivate, coach and train other sales professionals in your team
  • Attending meetups or trade shows to represent the company and network with new and prospective customers

What might an average week look like?
It’s important to note that you’ll be joining a demanding, ambitious technology
company at an early stage, so we’ll expect you to take ownership and feel
responsibility for a broad range of things that will help us succeed. For ambitious, entrepreneurial candidates, you will have an excellent opportunity to develop yourself and the role as the company grows.
You will manage the day to day of the commercial sales team and an average day might be split between client calls and internal meetings with your team. You will be expected to drive the system and process for your sales team to succeed and make sure we achieve the targets we have outlined for the month.
Key Attributes
Have prior sales experience within the commercial real estate industry in

  • At least 10+ years experience in direct commercial property or related sales
  • At least 5+ years sales management experience
  • Technology/proptech/startup/scaleup experience is advantageous
  • Show evidence of performance and progression
  • Have excellent working knowledge of the Singapore real estate market
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership and management experience
  • Experience of self-directed working
  • Well versed in the day to day of line management
  • Have ambition, hunger for success and be driven by targets
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
  • Have experience and interest in related fields e.g. technology, B2B sales, software, real estate
