Our client is SaaS platform dedicated to decarbonizing the construction sector through life cycle assessment (LCA) solutions. They help companies build low-carbon structures and address global climate challenges, aligned with the Paris Agreement and regulations like the EPBD and CSRD. Their strength lies in their team of experts in data, data science, and tech for AEC tools.
To support our mission of decarbonizing the construction sector and strengthen their presence in the DACH and DK market, they are looking for a Head of Region. This role is essential to maximize their impact and boost the growth model.
  
About the Role
 
As Head of Region, you will be the primary point of contact for operations in the DACH and DK area, ensuring that their offerings meet local needs while aligning with their overall vision.
  
Responsibilities

• Develop the regional strategy: create and execute a growth strategy aligned with their market objectives, considering the specifics of the DACH and DK region.
• Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant players in their target market.
• Foster and grow the client portfolio: identify new opportunities and build lasting relationships with key players in the construction sector.
• Collaborate with internal teams: work with product, marketing, and operational teams to ensure their solutions meet customer expectations while respecting their vision for ecological transition.
• Monitor market trends: analyze the market and competition to adjust offerings and strategies, providing data-driven recommendations.
• Contribute to content creation: assist in creating communication materials to present their mission and solutions to local clients and partners.
• Promote the importance of carbon footprint and LCA to decision-makers in the construction sector.
• Participate in events, conferences, trade fairs to strengthen their visibility in the DACH and DK region, and be active within sector organizations, especially DGNB, Eco-Bau, Green Building Councils.

  
Qualifications & Person Specification

• You are passionate about ecological transition and want to decarbonize the construction sector, with at least 10 years of experience in sustainable construction, ideally in a B2B or SaaS context.
• You are fluent in German and English, with knowledge of French and Danish as a plus.
• You hold an engineering degree, ideally with a specialization in construction, civil engineering, or a similar field.
• You can identify customer needs, propose innovative solutions, and manage complex projects while engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• You excel in negotiating with high-level stakeholders (C-level, technical directors) and have a strong understanding of decarbonization challenges and environmental regulations (EPBD, CSRD).
