Experienced Enterprise Sales Executive with knowledge of the carbon credit markets


Our client is a platform for climate action, with a marketplace for carbon removals. They have developed an API for carbon credits – the first in the world. 
This is a unique chance to become a founding member of their Americas sales team, making a substantial impact by exploring new markets, boosting revenue, standardizing sales processes, and joining an exceptionally talented team.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Gaining a thorough understanding of our client’s offerings, value proposition, and industry concepts.
  • Managing our client’s strategic customers in the Americas to strengthen relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Building ongoing relationships with customers, adding value in every interaction.
  • Conducting in-depth discovery to understand customers’ businesses, priorities, and identifying alignment with our client’s solutions.
  • Aligning our client’s offerings with customers’ initiatives and guiding them through the buying process.
  • Ensuring every sales interaction is positive, professional, and helpful, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Managing the sales process meticulously, maintaining control over each stage.
  • Utilizing our client’s tech stack to maximize efficiency, recording all activities in their CRM.
  • Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast within the CRM system.
  • Meeting or exceeding all assigned sales KPIs.
  • Achieving revenue targets in the designated territory.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members across Sales, SDRs, Marketing, Success, Product, and other departments, contributing to the overall improvement of the team.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Over 7 years of experience in B2B technology, software, cloud, or climate technology sales.
  • More than 2 years of experience in selling carbon credits.
  • A proven track record of consistently surpassing goals in a competitive environment.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to manage the entire sales cycle from start to finish, including strategic prospecting and outbound efforts.
  • A methodical approach to building and following processes to achieve consistent results, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven success in managing and closing enterprise accounts with annual contract values exceeding $50k.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • A proactive and productive approach to team improvement.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to inspire others.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and personal improvement.
  • Passion for sales and developing a career in the sales profession.
  • Experience with early-stage startups is preferred.
