Data and Business Application Analyst

About the Role
  
Our client is looking for a Data and Business Application Analyst to act as a key enabler of data and technology capabilities across business teams, translating operational requirements into scalable, system-based solutions that support data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of technology implementation and optimization initiatives, enterprise data management, and the development of reporting and analytics solutions. The Analyst operates within a structured governance and leadership support framework to ensure ongoing alignment with business priorities and the broader data and technology strategy.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day business analysis activities, including process mapping, requirements elicitation, and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Convert complex operational needs into detailed functional specifications and system configurations within data and technology environments.
• Partner with external vendors and internal teams to support the implementation and optimization of business applications through requirements documentation, solution design, and testing activities.
• Assist with enterprise data management processes, including data collection, validation, standardization, and aggregation.
• Develop and implement data-informed solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and support decision-making.
• Create, test, and maintain reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to business units.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to data management, reporting, and business applications.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end users on business application and reporting capabilities.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure business priorities remain aligned with data and technology strategies, including supporting project intake, prioritization, and status reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in business and data analysis, ideally within real estate or a related industry.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical configurations and detailed functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience working with and/or administering real estate platforms, reporting solutions, and analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of data management best practices, data modeling, and report development.
• Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools commonly used in data-driven technology environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with well-developed problem-solving, design thinking, and process improvement capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities.
