Customer Delivery & Project Management at Climate Tech Startup

Our client is a leading ESG software company, empowering the real estate industry by providing greater transparency into their ESG data. They have secured over $100M in funding, with 1000s of global, enterprise clients. They are now looking for an experienced Client Delivery Manager to join their UK team, who will be responsible for customer onboarding and the successful delivery of their solutions post-sale, ensuring that customers realize the full value of our products and are highly satisfied with their experience.

Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Project Management

  • Ownership of Delivery: Lead all post-sales activities related to onboarding and solution delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful deployment.
  • Project Workflow Management: Create and execute detailed project plans, tailoring workflows to meet specific customer needs.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Organize and lead internal teams to align on project timelines, deliverables, and customer goals.
  • Customer Data Management: Guide customers through the data collection process, ensuring efficient and accurate implementation.
  • Customer Communication: Act as the primary contact for customers throughout onboarding, maintaining consistent communication and resolving concerns.

Service Delivery & Collaboration

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations, holding regular progress meetings.
  • Successful Handoffs: Coordinate with Sales to ensure seamless customer transitions and proper scoping of solutions.

Customer Experience & Risk Management

  • Customer Satisfaction: Deliver high-quality onboarding experiences, promptly resolving issues and managing customer expectations.
  • Risk Identification: Identify and address risks proactively during implementation, collaborating with Account Management for resolution.
  • Training & Upskilling: Conduct customized training sessions to ensure customers can maximize the solutions post-implementation.

Data & Reporting

  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer data, working with internal teams to maintain required standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions, project progress, and outcomes. Provide project reports to stakeholders.

Ongoing Support & Process Improvement

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize onboarding and implementation processes, providing feedback to internal teams.
  • Customer Playbook: Maintain and update a playbook tracking the status of each implementation project and milestones.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of project management or customer delivery experience, preferably within SaaS or technology environments.
    • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
    • Experience with ESG reporting, sustainability initiatives, or commercial real estate is an advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Problem-solving and customer-focused mindset.
