Job Description
Our client is a well-known British company looking for an experienced Country Manager to organise and oversee the daily operations of this expansion locally in Paris, France. They are looking to scale their operations and branch out to a new market in order to support some exciting client growth in 2023, so this will be the first hire in this region!
Your Responsibilities:
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business in the market.
• Develop and own the market P&L.
• Establish and develop partnerships with suppliers and clients.
• Mentor and train staff, to achieve and maintain quality standards through the execution of departmental training and quality assurance programs.
• Assist as needed in the interviewing and hiring of employee team members with the appropriate skills.
• Oversee operations supporting the Housekeeping, Logistics and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure that the maintenance and housekeeping standards are met and clients’ expectations are exceeded.
• Produce regular reports on asset and employee performance.
• Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organisational objectives and apply improvements.
• Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
• Oversee client support processes and organise them to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Ensure that the company complies with all local laws and regulations.
Your Qualifications:
• Proven 5 years + experience in relevant hospitality/accommodation sector roles.
• Excellent organisational and leadership qualities.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines.
• In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
