Our client, a product for Property and Trade Services, is a one-stop shop property platform that directly connects residential and commercial real estate developers from and to vibrant markets empowering developers to reach, advertise and sell their developments to a bigger pool of global investors and expats. The platform is envisioned to be a real estate investment hub helping property investors and residence- seekers find, compare, buy, sell and rent their properties aided by reliable market insights & live property valuation and monitoring.
They're currently seeking an experienced technology officer to join their leadership team in London to own and lead technology department. Their organisation combines technology and industry knowledge to deliver a data-driven property platform that improves user experience, aid in decision making and extend developers’ market reach. The CTO is a customer-centric technology and industry executive who leads, on a global level, the organisation’s technological needs, client executive business engagement, and cross organisational planning. You will be a strategic facilitator by engaging with departmental heads to ensure IT is directionally correct in its investment and is well empowered to attain strategic goals set. You should also provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong seamless user experience to increase revenues.

- Develop a global high performing technology team that adopts and excels at customer-focused technologies that enhances user experience through behavioural science to help create value and
- Disrupt the property market by simplifying and encouraging online property contracting and deal
- Help shape the strategic vision and operating plans to drive both active user and revenue
Responsibilities
- Lead the platform in leveraging technology to sell better through digital channels using interactivity and advanced digital choice architecture to make the buying process more
- Build and manage an IT team that delivers on department objectives and develops an algorithm that identifies property market fundamentals from diverse
- Create a market-leading mobile platform flexible enough for company and customer use
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage and increase sales
- Train sales people on product features to increase customer
- Engage with and encourage departmental heads to have a OGTM framework to identify division tactics and produce IT department
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
- Monitor & set KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance and report to the board on progress
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Contribute to product development using analytics
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with a willingness to engage with others and build relationships
- Senior technology leader with experience in building fast-growth consumer facing digital brands (international hyper-competitive markets) - experience in real estate (preferable)
- Experience and traction in behavioural science technologies that supports advanced customer segmentation, personalisation, and customer experiences that
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; operates effectively across global and matrixed organisations to drive mutual success.
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
