About the Role
 
Our Client is looking for a driven Business Development Specialist to help fuel the company’s growth by creating qualified opportunities and boosting top-of-funnel engagement.
In this position, you will introduce property managers and owners to the value of our advanced solutions, run impactful outbound outreach campaigns, and work closely with the revenue team, reporting directly to senior sales leadership.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Prospecting & Pipeline Development

  • Make 50+ outbound calls each day to prioritized accounts and high-value prospects
  • Run high-volume outreach across email, LinkedIn, and other creative channels
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and build a steady pipeline of well-vetted opportunities
  • Tailor messaging to engage decision-makers within property management and ownership
  • Develop deep expertise in the company’s offerings and value proposition

Sales Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work closely with sales leadership to execute coordinated go-to-market strategies
  • Provide feedback to Marketing to refine messaging and enhance campaign performance
  • Assist in improving outreach scripts, sequencing, and enablement tools

Market Research & Growth

  • Research target accounts, buying signals, and high-potential segments
  • Identify trends, customer pain points, and market gaps across the PropTech/real estate landscape
  • Support field initiatives such as events, webinars, and partner activities

Performance & Reporting

  • Document activity, prospect notes, and pipeline updates within CRM systems and tracking tools
  • Maintain strong activity levels and consistently surpass monthly targets
  • Leverage data insights to improve outreach, positioning, and overall processes

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a business development, BDR/SDR, or similar outbound-focused role (experience in B2B SaaS or financial technology is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with both operational leaders and senior executives
  • Successful track record in high-volume outbound prospecting and meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms and standard productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace)
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and capable of juggling multiple priorities
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and eager to advance in a fast-moving startup setting
  • Familiarity with real estate, property operations, PropTech, or financial services
  • Experience working in early-stage or rapidly scaling startup environments
  • Comfortable using data and experimentation to refine outreach strategies
