PropTech Business Development Manager role based in London, UK

The Business Development Manager will drive growth in our client’s revenues and market share by:

  • Proactively developing relationships with potential clients and demonstrating persistence and patience over a long sales cycle to ensure that, when opportunities arise, our client is considered for new business.
  • Nurturing a great network of clients, partners and market experts both personally and through LinkedIn to ensure referrals for new business and a high profile for the company.
  • Operating with confidence and superior market knowledge at Director level, being able to influence all executives from IT Directors to CEOs, influencers and decision makers.
  • Working proactively in partnership with the Marketing Team to develop lead generation client initiatives and events.
  • Continuously developing both technical portfolio knowledge and market proposition and product benefits knowledge to inspire confidence in client presentations and meetings. Liaising with the technical support team for technical demonstrations when required.
  • Represent the company as a market expert at industry events, on webinars and through PR opportunities.
  • Persistently drive achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue and KPI targets, utilising all sales tools effectively, such as Pipedrive, to consistently record and communicate activity.
  • Support and seek to continually improve the lead generation process by working proactively with the lead generation resource.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Director in the development of strategic opportunities for new business by attending meetings, hosting client events and giving presentations.
Required Skillset
  • A proven track record in new business sales
  • Ability to demonstrate consultative selling and contract negotiation
  • Extensive experience in either selling to the flexible workspace sector, or an in-depth knowledge of the sector gained by working within an operator or broker.
  • An enthusiasm for and knowledge of technology.
  • Effective pipeline management and recording using a CRM
  • Active LinkedIn member
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good knowledge of working in the flexible workspace sector would be beneficial
