Business Development Manager

Job title: Business Development Manager
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary range: £35-40k base + uncapped commission
Location: Hybrid, Doncaster, DN4


Overview

 
We have an exciting job opportunity for Customer Success Manager with experience in the Built Environment. You’ll join our client’s fast growing SaaS startup, playing an essential role as they grow their customer base locally and country-wide after a successful round of Series A funding.
You’ll be reporting directly to the CEO, being an important part of the Leadership Team and the overall success of the business.


Duties & Responsibilities


• 360 sales, outreach, prospecting to close
• Contribute in preparation of go to market strategies
• Contribute in growing customer base across UK / Europe
• Managing prospective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
• Providing a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
• Conducting sales presentations and solution demonstrations
• Coordinating channel sales activities with the channel partners
• Contribute towards the product roadmap by providing regional requirements and customer /
prospect feedback.
• Attend events, associations, and trade shows across Europe
• Participate in thought leadership initiatives across the region

 
Qualifications & Skills:
 
• A creative, ambitious and customer focused Business Development Manager with extensive built environment experience from a SaaS background
• Technology savvy and proficient in the use of a range of communication, presentation and other business tools;
• Proven track record of success in B2B Sales, achieving and exceeding sales targets with good attention to detail
• Excellent research, planning and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and upsell virtually as well as in person, 7while maintaining established sales quotas;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively, and comfortable working in a casual but motivated team environment ;
• Quick assimilator of information and agile thinker
• Enthusiastic Selfstarter with a “can do” attitude and strong work ethic;
