About the Role
Our Client is looking for a Business Analyst to join a strategy-focused team operating at the crossroads of real estate, technology, and data. This role goes beyond traditional business analysis; the analyst will function as a problem solver, process designer, and digital facilitator, helping define and enhance the systems that support enterprise-wide decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial real estate, gained through experience in areas such as investments, asset management, operations, or analytics. This industry knowledge is essential for understanding complex workflows, uncovering meaningful improvement opportunities, and ensuring technology solutions are grounded in real-world business needs.
In this position, you will translate business challenges into technical solutions – streamlining fragmented processes and data into effective automations, clear reporting, and scalable insights. Your contributions will directly support improved efficiency, stronger data transparency, and better-informed strategic decisions across the organization.
This opportunity is well suited to a technically capable analyst with deep commercial real estate expertise who enjoys transforming ambiguity into structure, manual work into automation, and data into actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate Business Needs: Partner with stakeholders to gather, question, and prioritize requirements. Produce clear functional documentation, data structures, and acceptance criteria that enable confident technical implementation.
- Analyze and Redesign Processes: Document current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and collaborate on future-state designs that simplify operations, reduce manual effort, and minimize data handoffs.
- Deliver Automation Solutions: Design or coordinate automated workflows using low-code tools and system integrations to convert repetitive activities into efficient, reliable processes.
- Build Analytics and Reporting: Develop data models, transformation logic, and intuitive visualizations. Incorporate user feedback to iteratively improve insight quality, usability, and impact.
- Maintain Data Consistency and Alignment: Validate outputs against agreed definitions and reference materials to ensure consistency and shared understanding across systems and reports.
- Standardize and Improve Reporting: Review existing reporting assets to identify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for consolidation and standardization.
- Advise on Technology and Data Design: Recommend appropriate approaches for data structures, integrations, and analytics tools, balancing performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Support Delivery and Change Management: Coordinate timelines and deliverables while supporting adoption through stakeholder engagement, testing, documentation, and user enablement.
- Contribute to Additional Initiatives: Support ad hoc tasks and special projects as required.
